My illustration Odd Job Live in Bremen just one of the world’s most prestigious design awards: the Red Dot Design Award 2014. The illustration for the Swedish jazz band Odd Job was made together with the prestigious design studio Gábor Palotai (Gabor Palotai — art direction, David Wickström and Fernanda Torre — graphic design).
Last October 2013 I was invited by the Creative Association of Curators TOK in St.Petersburg (Russia) to give a talk in the International Conference “Socially Integrated Design: New Ideas for Familiar Spaces”. My talk was called “Collaboration Design, the path for Prosperity” and it took place on the 22nd of October in Gallery Formula, the old bread factory at Ligovsky pr. 74 that has become one of the central points of alternative art scene in St. Petersburg.
Algorithms increasingly permeate all aspects of modern life and are transforming the way we humans interact with non-human species and the biosphere. In this manifesto, we gathered a small group of thinkers and doers – scholars, programmers, artists, entrepreneurs, game developers and others – to explore these possible principles for the development of algorithms that helps us protect and strengthen our ecosystems, and improve our creative capacities to sustain human well-being in an uncertain future. They are applicable to programmers, hackers, software companies, computer scientists, artists, designers, policy-makers and others taking active part of the algorithm revolution.
This dynamic workshop on the future of Hammarby Sjöstad took place during Kulturnatt 2015. In this event a select group of influential citizens, politicians and other officials were lead by professionals from The Experience Design Group to imagine possible futures for the Hammarby Sjöstad community and sharing these visions, redesigning the democratic process.
We Have Company was a co-creation space, created to be a multi-functional, multi-purpose space where work was to be catalyzed by the exchange of ideas, sharing of knowledge and work together.
We Have Company acted as a cushy nest designed to accelerate the successful development of creative and innovative ventures through an array of mutual support resources and services, developed and orchestrated by the members. In addition, We Have Company lead co-creation initiatives and events aimed at creating innovation.
Nov2k is a yearly symposium that is organized and run by graduate students at Karolinska Institutet and Södertörn University. Mixing playfulness with inspiration for interaction, the team brought Experience Design insights to the planning of the event, creating intimacy and the feeling of being part of the action to the event itself.
Forecasting the Experience of Opera was a strategic partnership between the New York City Opera,the Experience Design Group at Konstfack, R1 KTH Experimental Performance Space, the Operahögskolan, and the Stockholm School for Entrepreneurship.
